Places of interest
Zante’s most famous attraction is the picturesque Shipwreck Bay,reached by a pleasant hour’s drive through the mountains.The wreck is visible from the clipptop viewpoint – a fantastic photo opportunity too – or shop at nearby Porto Vromi and take a boat into the bay itself to see the ship up close.

Zante town is also a must-see its shops and restaurants and attractive little harbour make a great day out.The town is overlooked by Bocchali Hill, which also has stunning views of the coast.Here,you can siy in one of the cafes with a cool drink or ice-cream,taking in the scenery and relaxed atmosphere, before wandering up to the ruins of the Venetian Castle.In the evening,the views ofZante Town’s lights twinkling below are simply wonderful – perfect for enjoying over a cocktail or two.
